Humboldt Unified School District Superintendent Christine Griffin talks to a small audience at Granville Elementary about a proposed redesign of the district that will, in all four plans, group sixth graders with seventh and eighth graders. At this time, the district has five K-6 elementary schools, two middle schools, one K-8 alternative school, a pre-school and one high school.
