With 256 votes separating the two Republican candidates for the State Senate in Legislative District 1, former Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett appears to be the winner over fellow Republican candidate Steve Zipperman.
With several hundred provisional and questioned ballots still to be processed, the two Republican candidates in the Legislative District 1 primary race for Arizona State Senate remain less than 250 votes apart.
