Shortly after the end of WWII, Carl and Marion Miller met in Seattle when Carl was competing in a Navy boxing match. Carl chased Marion around Washington and California and then finally on March 14, 1947, they were married in Marion’s hometown of Missoula, Montana. Then came 27 more years of military service at various air bases from coast to coast, including Yokota, Japan. Next came a life after the military with Carl serving as a minister. Carl and Marion produced five children and now count 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to being the mother of five kids, Marion worked various jobs from the King County Housing Authority to the SBA to a very hard-working pastor’s wife. They are enjoying their golden years in Prescott. (Courtesy)
