For the first time in recent memory, the City of Prescott will host its Independence Day Fireworks on Watson Lake on Thursday, July 4.
With this year’s shift of the July 4 fireworks show from the downtown area to Watson Lake, Prescott could have an event that is nearly one-of-a-kind in the state.
A return to the large-shell fireworks that were typical in Prescott’s pre-2016 July 4 celebrations will be just one of the expected benefits of a venue move to Watson Lake Park.
