Governing boards for the Prescott Unified and Humboldt Unified school districts missed the vote this past week. Rather, they missed the signs.
At a special virtual meeting Tuesday night, the Prescott Unified School District Governing Board voted unanimously to use one-time federal dollars attached to the COVID-19 crisis to hire two coordinators to oversee both the district’s distance learning and health and safety protocols for all six schools.
On the agenda for the Prescott Unified School District Governing Board on Tuesday, Oct. 1, in the district board room at Washington School on East Gurley Street will be a presentation on the AZMerit scores. The meeting, open to the public, begins at 5 p.m.
The Prescott Unified School District Governing Board will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 5 p.m. for its regular board meeting at the district offices at Washington School on East Gurley Street.
With school back in session, the Prescott Unified School District Governing Board will be back in action, too, with the first board meeting of the school year scheduled for 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6 at the district office conference room at Washington School on East Gurley Street.
