Prescott City Manager Michael Lamar explains the city’s proposal to lease about two acres of land near the intersection of Montezuma and Sheldon streets that would allow for development of a Hilton Garden Inn hotel. The long-term lease would involve land near the old railroad trestle over Granite Creek, and would tie in with the city’s efforts to revitalize its creeks and Greenway Trails, Lamar said.
