The Loba Prescribed Burn, one mile south of Prescott, is underway, the Forest Service reported this morning, Oct. 3. It is burning "in favorable conditions and helping to reduce hazardous fuels and return fire to its natural role in the landscape, as well as protecting surrounding communities."
