Kay Lauster, president of the Chino Valley Historical Society, holds a circa 1920s photo of the Longmore Store at Jerome Junction (seen below) on Friday, Dec. 2. The building, now located at Road 1 North and Highway 89, is in the way of a future traffic light and road improvements. Lauster hopes to save the building and turn it into a Jerome Junction museum.
