When most think about Native American culture, many thoughts drift toward the past. And while Native American culture is a large percentage of the culture and history of America, it still continues to be a part of the contemporary culture. This is where the Smoki Museum comes into play, preserving Native American archaeological artifacts while, at the same time, demonstrating that the Native American culture hasn't disappeared with exhibits on contemporary Native American art.
