Rebecca Ruffner, executive director of the Prescott Valley-based nonprofit organization Prevent Child Abuse Arizona, was recently honored by the Arizona Council of Human Service Providers with the Spirit of Prevention Award.Council CEO Emily Jenkins and board member Susie Huhn surprised Ruffner with the award July 22 during the 21st annual Child Abuse Prevention conference, which drew more than 700 attendees from across the state.
