Prescott school board ready to slash budget

The Prescott School District Governing Board will make cuts to its 2009-10 budget during its meeting Tuesday. The board will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the district office boardroom, 146 S. Granite St.After determining the depth of those cuts, administrators will ask the school board for permission to start offering contracts to teachers who received Reduction In Force (RIF) letters this past April.
