Families appear open to Humboldt Unified School District reconfiguration plan
Top choice: expand one middle school, create second at district complex with existing Glassford Hill added to high school
Humboldt Unified School District Superintendent Christine Griffin talks to a small audience at Granville Elementary about a proposed redesign of the district that will, in all four plans, group sixth graders with seventh and eighth graders. At this time, the district has five K-6 elementary schools, two middle schools, one K-8 alternative school, a pre-school and one high school. Plans are to be presented to the HUSD Governing Board in January. (Nanci Hutson/Courier)
