Prescott Regional Airport first in nation to offer AAC communication boards for the non-verbal, language-limited

Prescott Regional Airport unveiled the first specially-designed, airport and flight-related communication boards – picture symbols and expressions with words underneath – in the nation at a short airport lobby ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023. Communication boards will soon be posted at the ticket kiosks, the flight gates and there will be “Communication on the Fly” pamphlets passengers can use in the terminal or onboard.
