Pet of the Week: Zapata (Chino Valley Animal Shelter)
Meet Zapata, an approximately 9-month-old, female Doberman mix. Zapata came to the shelter as a stray and she is now looking for a new, loving home. Zapata is shy when she first meets you, but once warmed up loves to stay right by your side, always ready for as much love and attention as she can get.
She is very energetic and playful as would be expected from a young dog and is still learning how to have good manners and contain some of that energy. She has been good with people and other dogs although we have not been able to test her with any kids or cats just yet.
She appears to be housetrained, is up to date on vaccinations and has an appointment set for her rabies vaccination, microchip and to be spayed.
If you think Zapata would be a good addition to your family, please call the shelter at 928-636-4223, ext. 7, to set up an appointment to meet her today!
