Watson Lake overflow going to recharge aquifer
Owing to the wet winter weather in late 2022 and early 2023, water has been overflowing the spillway at the Watson Lake Dam for more than a week. The city began capturing it for recharge into the aquifer on Jan. 19, 2023 and is currently recharging about eight million gallons a day. (Cindy Barks/Courier)
