Obituary: Nelson Pollock
Nelson Pollock passed away on January 22, 2023 in Prescott, Arizona. He was born on September 4, 1927 in Pomona, California to Lawrence and Marie Pollock.
He is survived by his daughters Julie Pollock (Jonathan) Birdt, Cathy (Dennis) Jackson, Connie Pollock and son Larry (Pamela) Pollock, his grandchildren Lillian, Mark, Brian, Greg, Jessica and Michael, and great-grandchildren Madison, Katie, Camden Trevin and Sarah. He is predeceased by his wife Carol-Ann and beloved daughters Cindy DeVore and Lisa Carol Pollock.
Nelson was a valued member of the Pomona Host Lions’ Club in Pomona, CA. He liked to watch the horses race at Santa Anita and Del Mar. He would always whistle and had an endearing smile. He loved boasting about how he could skunk you in cribbage. He enjoyed golfing at Vista Valley Country Club and attending USC football games with Carol-Ann.
