Prescott’s building-naming policy now requires those proposing name change to pay for new signage

Plans are currently in the works for new signs and a plaque that will honor former Prescott Mayor Marlin Kuykendall at the Prescott Centennial Center near the Prescott Regional Airport. The signs will be paid for by Kuykendall’s family, and on May 10, the Prescott City Council revised its naming policy to require that any future renaming actions also be paid for by the person or group proposing the change.
