Gas prices jump, knocking on $5 per gallon in Prescott, Quad Cities
When will gas prices drop? In November 2008, prices at the pump dropped below $2 per gallon for regular unleaded in the Prescott/Quad Cities, after topping out at $4.11 in July of that year. That $4.11 per gallon then would be equal to about $5.40 per gallon today. (Courier file images)
