Yavapai County outreach event planned in Skull Valley July 28
Yavapai County Supervisor Harry Oberg and the County Development Services Department will conduct an informational outreach event from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 28 at the Skull Valley Community Center, 3150 Old Skull Valley Road, Skull Valley.
The event will include information about the Comprehensive Plan update process. “Your participation and involvement in this planning process is important,” states a news release from Oberg’s office.
It adds that the Comprehensive Plan is the county’s roadmap for the future. “It builds the long-term community vision for where to grow the county responsibly and what to protect in the future,” the release adds. “It helps guide good commercial development in appropriate areas and identifies places of special significance that should be preserved and protected.”
