Obituary: Betty Ann Nutt Miller Buhler
Betty Ann Nutt Miller Buhler, passed peacefully after a battle with Covid Pneumonia at Yavapai Regional Medical Center December 30, 2021. Her daughters, Valerie and Jackie along with her husband Cliff were grateful to have the opportunity to say goodbye and are thankful for the attentive care of the Yavapai team on Covid Unit 4.
Born in Beaver, Ohio August 23, 1937, Betty graduated from Beaver High School and earned her B.A. in Education at Rio Grande College. That is where she met her first husband J. William Miller and married after graduation in 1957. They resided in Waverly, Ohio. Betty was an elementary school teacher for many years then pursued graduate studies at Bowling Green State University. After graduate studies, she served as a Reading Intervention specialist. Following her career in education, Betty worked as an ER receptionist in the Pike and Ross County Medical Centers and as a leasing agent in Southwestern USA. Retirement was filled with travel and multiple residences with current husband Clifford Buhler. Betty was an entrepreneur, representing Amway, Luzier and Mary Kay Cosmetics. She enjoyed country crafts and was an enthusiast of musicals.
Survivors include: Her spouse, Clifford Leon Buhler, Prescott AZ.; daughters, Valerie Miller Brooks Thurstone, Southport North Carolina, Jacqueline Miller Cormier, San Jose California, Christopher Buhler, Idaho, Tammy Buhler, California, son-in-law Peter B. Thurstone, as well as several nieces, nephews and grandchildren: Hayley Brooks Helmer, Indiana. Collin Reid Brooks, Ohio. Samuel and Benjamin Thurstone, Ohio.
Predeceased by her parents: Hazel Katura Reisinger and Owen Herbert Nutt and siblings: Louva Herberta Nutt Martin, Rosalie Kay Nutt Hamlin, George William Nutt, Florence Comfort Nutt Keppler and Owen Herbert Nutt Jr.
