Progress continues on preservation of Glassford Hill as regional park
Local governments angling to get boost of up to $5M from federal grant

Progress continues on the multi-government effort to preserve about 3,300 acres of land on and near Glassford Hill. The project was the objective of a 10-year intergovernmental agreement that the Prescott, Prescott Valley and Yavapai County approved this past spring. Under the agreement, the three partners would build trails on the acquired land that would offer sweeping views of the surrounding community. (Chris Hosking/Courtesy)
