Janet Louise Parker, age 78, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, passed away September 3, 2021, at home, with her loving family by her side. She was born January 4, 1943 in Morgantown, West Virginia to James P. and Mabel C. (Campbell) Roy.

Janet served in the US Marine Corp., worked at Gunsite and Global, but was most passionate about being a homemaker and mother.

She was very compassionate and loving, and always said that her favorite thing was having any of her family around, whom she adored. She always said: “You’ll Miss Me when I’m gone”. Yes, Mom, we do!!. Always the perfect hostess, nobody left her house hungry. She was hilarious, loving, crafty and somewhat ornery. She loved Bingo! Janet enjoyed all kinds of hobbies like sewing and beading and was able to share many of those beautiful things with family and friends over the years.

Janet was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Tom Parker; her parents and her siblings, Jim Roy and Ray Roy. She is survived by her children, Terry, Tammy, Tommy (Gwen) and Tracy (Mike); 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A Committal Service will be held at the Prescott National Cemetery on Sept. 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.
