New Prescott policy lists requirements for naming city buildings, trails after residents

An official naming policy that was approved by the Prescott City Council on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2021 stemmed from a discussion in February 2021 about a proposal to rename the Prescott Centennial Center after former Prescott Mayor Marlin Kuykendall who died in January. With this week’s adoption of the policy, that renaming effort could return, depending on whether two council members ask to bring it forward. (Cindy Barks/Courier)
