Obituary: Daniel F. ‘Judge’ Hackett

Daniel F. “Judge” Hackett, the son of John E. and Katherine Hackett was born February 5, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, died October 26, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona from the effects of covid. Judge donated his remains to science.

After serving his country in the U.S. Army, Judge worked in retail management in Texas, New Mexico and Montana as well as farming in Arkansas. Judge retired to Prescott Valley, Arizona in 2017 where he enjoyed many friends, playing golf and singing karaoke.

Judge is survived by sisters Elizabeth Coulon and her husband Tom of Boulder, Colorado, and Barbara Hackett of Chicago, Illinois; nieces Judy Davenport, Colleen Love, nephew Tim Coulon; and his devoted friend June Vandendries.

A celebration of life is planned for Judge in Prescott.
