US Submarine Force 121st Birthday Tolling of the Boats ceremony April 9
The annual Tolling of the Boats ceremony will take place at noon on Friday, April 9 at the Veterans Memorial at the Prescott Valley Civic Center.
In observance of U.S. Submarine Force's birthday, U.S. Submarine Veterans annually pay somber homage to the 52 submarines and their crews lost in war and peacetime in a ceremony known as Tolling of the Boats.
The event will take place at noon on Friday, April 9 at the Veterans Memorial at the Prescott Valley Civic Center.
After the local Submarine Veterans Base (aka Gudgeon Base) completes its 2021 Tolling of the Boats ceremony, attendees are invited to join PV's Submarine Veterans at a no-host luncheon at the Prescott Valley VFW located at 2375 N 5th Street in Prescott Valley.
