Diane Louise Malenfant, born Sept. 3, 1939, passed away in Prescott Valley June 2, 2021. She attended Camelback High and graduated from ASU. She was a member of the Murphys Girls Association. “Once A Sun Devil, Always a Sun Devil.”
Diane taught at Alhambra until her retirement. She bred and showed Basset hounds and was a proud owner of champions, BeauJangle in particular. She had a fondness for birds, Hummingbirds, Cardinals, and Quails, which she nourished all year long. She later became an American Kennel Club Judge for all breeds. She was loved and respected as a Judge. She received an emeritus award from the AKC which she cherished.
Diane had 33 years in AA and helped many women that were struggling with alcohol addiction. She found strength and peace from her strong faith in LDS church and its members. We were all blessed when Diane came into this world. A loving, caring, and faithful friend to many who love and miss her dearly.
