Prescott Valley likely to buy well near former Yavapai County Fairgrounds
$499,000 contract with Fain would considerably boost water capacity

Prescott Valley Utilities Director Neil Wadsworth said on Feb. 18 that if the town buys Monks Well, shown on this map as the “Subject Well,” it would provide the town with three water wells in the area south of the former Yavapai County Fairgrounds. If the town’s two existing wells were to encounter problems, Monks Well could be used as a backup. (Town of Prescott Valley)
