Obituary: Robert Arthur Whyley, Sr.

Robert Arthur Whyley, Sr., age 72, KYCA Prescott, Arizona news broadcaster, went to be with his Heavenly Father November 26, 2021.

Audio Bob was former Director of Audio for the Tonight Show, Christian Broadcasting, Gaither Studios and the Tennis Channel with numerous mixing projects for TV and records.

He is survived by the love of his life, Laura of 50 years of marriage; two sons, Bob Jr. (Heather), Jonathan (Rozanne); grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah, JJ and Gabriel; brother Chris (Beth); and niece, Megan.

A video online Memorial Service will follow the holiday season. A gracious request of no flowers is asked. A sincere thanks to the medical practices of Dr. Kurt Krupnick and Deborah Krupnick F.N.P., YRMC and St. Joseph’s Hospital.

His bombastic personality with remarkable wit and humor invoked in any situation will be greatly missed by treasured friends around the country in both the Christian community and entertainment industry.
