Obituary: Roxanne Evlynne Tarn
Roxanne Evlynne Tarn was born on July 24, 1954, in Los Angeles, California, and passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sept. 1, 2020, in Prescott, Arizona.
Roxanne is survived by her husband, Jim Welch; step-daughter and son-in-law, Nicci and Eddie Garcia; grandchildren, Dylan and Sara; and her sister and brother-in-law, Robbynne and Ted Raupers.
Roxanne grew up in El Monte, California, and lived in various locations of California until she moved to Prescott with her husband in 2004. She had a career as a court reporter for over 20 years; seven years in Los Angeles and 13 years in Prescott. She excelled at what she did and made many friends along the way.
Roxanne was a creative genius with an infectious personality. She loved photography and won many awards for her beautiful work. Her favorite holiday was Halloween and this was so evident by her passion for dressing up and her countless decorations. She also traveled as often as she could since she loved seeing all parts of the world. She was the ultimate optimist with a huge heart and was truly the glue that held her family together.
Roxanne was loved by all of her family and friends and will be deeply missed. There will be a celebration of her life in the near future.
