Cindy Foss honored by Finding and Making the Good organization
Finding and Making the Good has recognized Cindy Foss, director of the all-volunteer Prescott Area Restorative Initiatives (PARI), for her “tremendous work in and around Yavapai County for many years.”
Prescott Area Restorative Initiatives partners with the Yavapai County Juvenile Justice Center, as well as area schools, to provide restorative circles for youth who are referred to PARI’s Restore and WRAP initiatives.
“Cindy’s purity of heart and intention comes through in every circle she facilitates, offering community members such as law enforcement, youth and family members, the opportunity to speak directly with one another about incidents, feel heard, come to understanding, and make things right with each other,” according to a news release.
Her resolute focus on the good in people – and the healing possibility that comes from those in the community sitting in circle with one another – uplifts all those who participate.
PARI is funded by small contributions such as a $50 fee to participate in the Restore program (when youth are referred by their probation officer); but, right now PARI is generously covering fees for circle participants due to COVID.
Please visit www.paricircles.com if you are interested in volunteering or contributing to the future of our youth during this critical time.
Finding and Making the Good, findingandmakingthegood.com, is a charitable organization dedicated to celebrating “the people doing, living, and creating positivity. We are people celebrating people.”
