Chino Valley suspends meetings during COVID-19 pandemic
All Town of Chino Valley meetings, including town council, boards, commissions and committees have been suspended until further notice due to guidelines from the CDC and Governor Doug Ducey during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a news release from Information Officer Matt Santos.
“Everything’s just in a holding pattern,” Santos said. “We’re just trying to keep everybody safe as much as possible. That’s our goal.”
The exception to the suspension are for emergency, essential items, he said. All open meeting laws will continue to be followed, Santos said. These meetings will be condensed, noticed and published through the town’s usual means. Instructions on participating in these meetings will be provided online at www.chinoaz.net/agendacenter and town bulletin boards located at town hall, 202 N. Highway 89, the Post Office, 725 E. Road 2 North, and the public library, 1020 W. Palomino Road.
