Elks Theatre closes indefinitely

The Elks Theatre and Performing Arts Center has closed until further notice as of Saturday, March 21, due to COVID-19, according to Theatre Manager Jennifer Ward. The theatre will open in the future and its upcoming events will be rescheduled. Refunds will be given without hesitation.

Ward and Theatre Manager Colette Greenlee will be checking emails daily and respond as quickly as possible to answer questions and process refunds. They can be reached at cgreenlee@prescottelkstheater.com or at jward@prescottelkstheatre.com.

Courtesy notary services suspended at Prescott City Hall

Effective Monday, March 23, courtesy notary services provided by city staff with be suspended until further notice, according to a news release from the City of Prescott.

“In our ongoing efforts to curb the impacts of COVID-19 in our community and to protect our staff and citizens, this non-essential services will be temporarily suspended,” the release added.

Until Friday, March 20, notary services will be provided by appointment only by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at 928-777-1272.
