Obituary: Ted Gustavo Rice
Ted Gustavo Rice, 56, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, March 7, 2020 in Prescott, Arizona. He was born in Prescott, Arizona February 8, 1964 where he grew up. He attended Prescott High School where he enjoyed art class and hanging out with his friends.
He was a roofer by trade and worked for a few companies here in Prescott.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Rice; son, Melvin Rice; stepson Charlies Gillinger III; his dogs, Red Dog and Baby Girl; his mother, Mary Deibler; siblings, Arnold Rice, Susan Nahee, Angela Parish, Anna Rice, Roberta Dean, Sara Reyes, Robert Rice and Rebecca Esquivel; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Ted Rice, and his brothers, Ronnie Sandoval, Darryl Rice, and Rocky Deibler.
The family will receive friends and guests for viewing at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave in Prescott, with a Rosary to begin at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Street in Prescott with burial at the Yavapai-Prescott Tribal Cemetery at 530 Merritt Street in Prescott.
