The Town of Prescott Valley is planning a free drive-in movie experience in the parking lot at Findlay Toyota Center, 3201 N. Main St., at around 8 p.m. on May 29 and June 5.

At 7:45 p.m. Friday and again on Saturday, June 6, the Town of Prescott Valley will show the 1992 comedy “A League of Their Own” in the Findlay Toyota Center parking lot, 3201 N. Main St.

Prescott Valley Mayor Kell Palguta confirmed Thursday the second screening of the movie this weekend because of the popularity of “Lilo & Stitch,” the town’s first drive-in movie on May 29.

Participants are encouraged to show up early to the free movie projected on a large screen on an inflatable, as parking is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Bring your own snacks and drinks.

In addition, “Movies Under the Stars” will be returning to Prescott Valley this summer. Palguta stated that Mountain Valley Park Amphitheater, 8600 E. Nace Lane, will play host to the first movie on Friday, June 12.

“This is a great time and a completely free event for the family,” Palguta added in a Facebook post. “The movie to be shown on June 12 has yet to be determined but is sure to be family-friendly.”
