Patricia “Patti” Ann Timmerman

Patricia “Patti” Ann Timmerman (age 67) of Prescott Valley, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2020. After battling cancer and its complications for the last two years, she decided in true “Patti style” to leave this world in her own way — bravely, fearlessly, and full of gratitude. Patti chose to receive hospice care at her home the end of December, and then spend her last days at Marley House, surrounded by loving family and friends. She spent many of those days visiting, reminiscing, sharing stories, and looking at old photos. Throughout the close of her difficult journey, Patti remained positive and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the blessings she experienced during her life: On November 15, 1952 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the bright and fierce soul named Patricia Ann was born to the family of Arlene May Tilghman Redwanski (mother), Thomas Everett Tilghman (father, deceased), and Rick Tilghman (Linda). In her childhood, Patti was also blessed with the love of her stepfather, John Redwanski (deceased) and her brother, Kraig Redwanski (Mickey).

Patti graduated from Northern Burlington High School in 1970 (New Jersey). She married in 1971 and had two children, Shannon Adcock (Scott) of Ashland City, Tenn. and Kristy Timmerman (Stephen Newton) of Nashville, Tenn.

Her most rewarding job of all was being a mother and grandmother. The births of Colby Timmerman, Matthew Adcock and Austin Adcock made Patti a grandmother. From raising two girls to then spoiling three grandsons, she was blessed with a full and exciting family.

Known as a gypsy-soul with a witty social nature, it is no surprise that Patti pursued a variety of people-facing occupations throughout her adult life. She became a jack-of-all-trades in the health, restaurant, retail, and radio industries. The most memorable for Patti were her times spent as a Disc Jockey at stations in New Jersey, Nevada, and Tennessee. She was a lover of all music genres and claimed classic country as her true favorite.

All are invited to join the Celebration of Life ceremony for Patti Timmerman at 4:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 6th, 2020 at the Vineyard Church in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
