Obituary: Cindy A. Sciacca

Cindy A. Sciacca of Prescott, Arizona, born June 10th, 1953 in Painesville, Ohio, passed away on February 21, 2020 at her home surrounded by friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Sciacca as well as 2 children, Ashley (David) Januski and Dustin (Laura) Sciacca. Cindy was also survived by 6 grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Henry Januski and Victoria, Olivia and Anthony Sciacca.

Although Cindy was born in Ohio, when she was in her teens, her family moved to Mississippi where she delighted in southern living.

Cindy was an excellent cook who loved to throw a great party. Cindy loved Christmas and would decorate for at least a month before the holiday. It has been estimated that she has at least 7 Christmas trees at one time and was considering adding more.

Tony and Cindy loved Mexico, where they spent as much time as possible on the beach. She loved reading, a good movie, fancy tables and a well delivered joke. Her wit and creativity will be greatly missed.

Along with her husband, children, grandchildren and friends she will be missed by her surviving siblings and nieces/nephews, Pamela (Donald) Erickson, Sandra Parker, Candy (Steve) Smith and Tara (Jason) Shorrock, Hannah (Chris) McCabe, Skylar and Jackson Rose. Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Pat Blackburn, brother, Larry Thomas, brother-in- law, Troy Parker and best friend, Gail Sorteberg.

There will be a casual Celebration of Life on March 21 from 12-4 in her backyard, 3050 Garden Lane, to honor and celebrate her as she goes home to walk on the beach with Jesus. Please bring your own chairs. Donations can be made in honor of Cindy to Cedo.org.
