PCA Presents Reader’s Theater: ‘Alone Together’
Prescott Center for the Arts’ next Reader’s Theater performance is of Lawrence Roman’s “Alone Together,” directed by Tina Boden-Blake. The show chronicles one middle-aged couple’s frustrated attempts to deal with a modern-day plague: an infestation of adult offspring.
“Alone Together” will be at Stage Too, in the alley behind Prescott Center for the Arts located at 208 N. Marina St., at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, and 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, and at Prescott Valley Public Library, 7401 E. Skoog Blvd, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16.
The event is free with a $5 suggested donation at the door.
Have tea over the rainbow
Discover exciting adventures when you follow the yellow brick road at the Prescott Public Library where the Wizard of Oz Tea Party for Kids is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8.
Hosted by the Teen Advisory Group and presented thanks to the Friends of the Prescott Public Library, seating is limited. Reservations can be made at the youth desk or by calling 928-777-1537.

Hear music by singer/songwriter Nancy Elliot for this month’s CoffeeHouse Concert at the Prescott Public Library, Sunday, Feb. 9. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the music begins at 2:30 p.m.
Showcasing local and regional talent with an emphasis on original music, the CoffeeHouse Concert series is hosted by singer/songwriter Jo Berger and features a variety of acoustic, contemporary and traditional styles of music. Elliot will perform in her self-coined “South Western Americana” as she sings and tells stories about her life and love for big skies, adventure and a little something to tame.
The event and the coffee are free. The Prescott Public Library is located at 215 E. Goodwin St.
Laugh at improv
The Improvitonians, Prescott Center for the Arts’ improvisation troupe led by Robert White, will have their next performance at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, on Stage Too.
With unscripted shows and lots of audience participation, nobody knows just what will happen. Admission is $5 cash only at the door and no one under the age of 17 will be admitted without a parent or guardian.
Prescott Center for the Arts is located at 208 N. Marina St. and Stage Too is in the alley behind the theater.
