Kentucky Governor thought it a prank, but Tupac Shakur does need an unemployment check
In this file photo, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear speaks at a 2019 press conference. This week as he spoke about the state trying to process unemployment claims Beshear told the media a few “bad apples” including a person who filed an unemployment claim under the name of rapper Tupac Shakur — who was killed in a 1996 shooting — are responsible for slowing down the state’s unemployment processing. It turns out a real man named Tupac Malik Shakur had lost his job working as a cook and filed the claim. (AP Photo/Bryan Woolston)
