Prescott Valley Motel sign comes down; it will be preserved

Three different cranes were used to bring down the historic Prescott Valley Motel sign off of Highway 69 and Navajo Drive in Prescott Valley on April 1, 2020. Each piece of the sign, called a cabinet, was carefully removed by Prescott Valley-based sign company Signs Plus. The “Prescott Valley” cabinet and the “MOTEL” cabinet were the two largest pieces of the sign, erected in the late 1960s. (Doug Cook/Courier)
