The Prescott Valley Police Department has received several inquiries about “enforcement” in relation to Arizona Governor Doug Ducey’s Executive Order “Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected.”

The primary goal of this order is to guide citizens in such a way as to minimize exposure to COVID-19 (Corona Virus) or passing it onto others.

The Prescott Valley Police Department response is to educate, inform and provide guidance to our citizens with the expectation that you will do what is best for each other and the community. “Enforcement” of the Governor’s Order will only take place when there is dangerous behavior that may have severe impact on the community.

Our community has never experienced what we are facing today. Self-discipline is required in taking care of ourselves and our community.

Encouraging others to do the same will go a long way in improving this situation for all. The Prescott Valley Police Department is asking everyone to comply with Governor Ducey’s Executive Order.

The Prescott Valley Police Department remains dedicated to the safety and security of everyone within our community.

During these trying times, rest assured that the department will stay the course.

Our responsibility to our community will remain positive, to protect and serve everyone within our community to the best of our abilities. Do Your Part: “Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected”
