Want to try a delicious Italian dish that isn’t pasta? Try using Gnocchi (potato dumplings). Your family will love it!

Great serves with a green salad and garlic bread.

“Italian Gnocchi Bake”

Ingredients:

1 package Gnocchi (find in pasta section)

½ pound Italian or regular bulk sausage

½ cup onion (chopped)

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 14 ounce jar spaghetti sauce (your choice)

1 ½ cups Mozzarella cheese

½ cup shredded Romano cheese

Directions:

Boil Gnocchi 3-5 minutes, drain. In a skillet cook sausage, onion and garlic till meat is brown, then stir in spaghetti sauce. Transfer Gnocchi to a casserole dish, pour meat and sauce mixture over it and stir until well coated. Sprinkle cheeses over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
