2019 Wings Out West Airshow to honor WWII veterans Oct. 5

The 2019 Wings Out West Airshow, presented by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Oct. 5 at Prescott Regional Airport. There will be an aerial demonstration at 10 a.m. There will be the C-53 D-Day Doll aircraft and guest of honor LTC David Hamilton. A reenactment of a combat parachute drop will be performed by the Liberty Jump Team. It’s the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, and the purpose of the event is to honor WWII veterans. There will be static displays, food vendors, attractions for kids, a parachute folding demo and an EAA pancake breakfast at 9 a.m.
