Honey Baked Ham & Turkey for the Holidays
P.E.O. Chapter DX is taking orders for Honey Baked Hams & Turkeys, and Honey Baked Products including whole fully cooked turkeys, turkey breasts, side dishes, soup mixes, and gourmet desserts to be delivered to Prescott Monday, Nov. 25. The last day to order is Wednesday, Nov. 20.
PEO is an international organization that helps women restart and further their education through scholarships, grants, awards, and low interest loans. Honey Baked Ham Company will donate 20% of your purchase for those projects.
This fundraiser is customized just for P.E.O. Chapter DX. It includes preferred customer pricing, and new this year you can order online and pay by credit/debit card.

People Who Care meeting on Nov. 20
People Who Care will provide a volunteer informational meeting for those who may be interested in volunteering to help adults who are unable to drive due to age-related and/or physical limitations.
The meeting will take place on Nov. 20 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at 147 Grove Avenue.
People Who Care is a community-based nonprofit with programs in Prescott, Prescott Valley, Dewey and Chino Valley. Volunteers help in the community where they and enrolled Neighbors live. The majority of our Neighbors live alone.
Reaching out and assisting our Neighbors is a “feel good” opportunity for both the person volunteering and the one receiving the help. For your consideration you may call the Prescott office at 928-445-2480.
Prescott SAR seeks to recognize individuals
Prescott Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) seeks to recognize two individuals for the SAR lifesaving award and heroism award.
The SAR lifesaving award recognizes the actions of any person who was directly responsible for the saving of a human life or who prolonged a human life to the extent the victim was still alive upon transfer to the care of medical authorities, even though the victim might expire at a later time.
The SAR heroism award recognizes outstanding bravery and self-sacrifice in the face of imminent danger, i.e., acts which involved great personal courage and risk to the recipient.
This is intended primarily for acts by civilians not in uniform but does not exclude police/fireman.
Individuals selected will be honored by Prescott Chapter, SAR in Jan. 2020 at an awards ceremony.
