Prescott in Brief: Prescott National Forest offices closed for Memorial Day

Prescott National Forest offices closed for Memorial Day

All Prescott National Forest offices will be closed Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day. Forest offices will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, May 28.

If you are planning to visit the Prescott NF over the weekend, know before you go. Check the weather forecast, and be prepared for seasonal fluctuations. Use good judgment and basic safety precautions when hiking, biking, fishing or camping. Campfire safety and prevention is always a priority; never leave a campfire unattended and make sure it is out cold before leaving the area.

Forest officials encourage all visitors to enjoy outings on their public lands; make memories, take photos, and leave no trace. This ensures that all visitors have an enjoyable experience.
