Chino Valley benefits from volunteers’ 16,000 hours

The Town of Chino Valley, on Thursday, May 2, held a volunteer reception at the Chino Valley Senior Center. Between the Animal Shelter, Police Department, Senior Center and Library, about 16,000 hours were volunteered over the past year.

For the reception, more than 36 local businesses donated gifts for drawings and the 65 people in attendance all went home with one, organizers said.
