PRESCOTT — From June 1-8, the Prescott Rebels 12-and-Under Club baseball team will visit Cooperstown, New York, where each Rebels player and coach’s name will be enshrined into the American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame.

The Rebels, under coach John McKown and assistant coaches Terry Magnett, Adam Schuster, Dorian Sanderford and Steve Cruz, field a 13-player roster, including 11 athletes from Prescott Little League and two athletes from Chino Valley Little League.

McKown, Magnett and Sanderford also coach local Little League teams.

The Rebels team consists of Taylor Keppel, Coley Fundalewicz, Brendan Costes, Angelo Lynch, Jacob Patterson, Dominic Cruz, Porter Coates, Ivan Schuster, Tristan McKown, Cooper Magnett, Ethan Warren, Adrian Sanderford and Zane Gaul.

Prescott Little League President Brian Patterson said the Rebels have been playing together for the past several years.

“They are a hard-working and dedicated group,” Patterson added. “They are excited and honored to be a part of this Cooperstown tradition.”
