Cooking with Diane: Creamy Chicken & Noodles
My daughter gave me this delicious recipe to try because her family loves it so much, and now so do we! Hope you will try it.
Creamy Chicken & Noodles
2 chicken breasts
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1 stick of butter
1 carton of chicken stock
1 bag frozen egg noodles
3 carrots (chopped)
3 stalks celery (chopped)
salt & pepper to taste
2 tablespoons oil
Sprinkle Magic Seasoning (found at Safeway) on both sides of chicken, then place oil in skillet and sear chicken on both sides.
Put meat in crock pot adding chicken stock, butter, and soup. Cook for a few hours until chicken is done enough to shred.
After shredding meat, add carrots, celery, noodles put all in the crock pot with meat and continue cooking until veggies are tender.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
