William L. Kirchner

William L. Kirchner Dec. 15, 1943 — March 6, 2019. Tremendously loved father, friend and husband.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Bill spent the first part of his life on the East Coast. Following graduation from Oratory Prep School in Summit, New Jersey, Bill attended and graduated from Pennsylvania Military College (now Widener University), married his high-school sweetheart, Judy, and moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

After the newlyweds backpacked around Europe several times, they returned to Philadelphia where Bill began his business career at Catalytic Construction Company (now Stearns-Roger Corporation) and eventually two daughters completed the Kirchner household.

After a move west in the ’80s, Bill traded in his business suit for attire tailored for his first love, construction.

He found the best opportunities in Las Vegas where he continued to thrive in the building trades and married his current wife, Lynn. In 2007, the pair moved to Chino Valley, Arizona, to be closer to dear friends and make room for Bill’s beloved tool collection. He had a passion for Sloppy Joe sandwiches from the Millburn deli and loved eating at local Chino Valley restaurants, RVing around Arizona and telling stories.

His daughter, Kirstin, predeceased Bill. Bill is survived by his wife, Lynn; his sweet Bichon Frise, Georgie; and dearest daughter, Stephanie.

Bill will remain forever in our hearts and be dearly missed.
