Celebrate Mother’s Day with Esteban
The world renowned Spanish Guitar icon known as Esteban is returning to the Elks Theatre and Performing Arts Center for a Mother’s Day show Sunday, May 12. Stephen Paul, the titular Esteban, says he plays his guitar to make people feel good.
Tickets for the 3 p.m. show are $29 for adults, $25 for seniors, $39 for VIP and $50 for opera box seats and are available online at www.prescottelkstheater.com, by calling 928-777-1370 or at the door one hour prior to the performance

Learn about Lowell Observatory’s telescope
A Docent from Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff will be on hand at the Prescott Astronomy Club’s Third Thursday Star Talks to highlight findings and discoveries made with the observatory’s 24-inch Clark Telescope.
Built by Alvan Clark & Sons, the telescope was one of the largest in the world when it was commissioned in 1894. Having been recently refurbished, this telescope with a long and storied research career is mainly used these days for public outreach and education.
The event is at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the Prescott Public Library, 215 E. Goodwin St. For more information call Pat Birck at 928-778-6324.
See ‘The Blues Brothers’ at the Elks
Relive the classic story of Jake and Elwood Blues as they embark on their "mission from God" to save their childhood orphanage by getting their band back together with Movies at the Elks showing “The Blues Brothers” at 7 p.m.
