Pastor John Perry is beginning a new sermon series on the book of Colossians beginning May 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Alliance Bible Church, 2601 W. Iron Springs Rd., Prescott. Also, Author Mike Byrd is conducting a 12-week series on the book of Revelation at the church at 6 p.m. This course is based on his book, “The Mysteries of Revelation Demystified.” It defines the keys to understanding Revelation and interpreting the symbology by letting scripture interpret scripture. You will come to understand the book of revelation as never before.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship presents “Innana’s Descent Into the Underworld” at the 11 a.m. service May 5. Meg and Thatcher Bohrman and Dori Mion, puppeteers, musicians and performers will share their creative process of re-imagining this folktale for a modern audience and perform snippets of their upcoming show.
